Advanced Cell Technology and its CSO, Robert Lanza, are once again embroiled in controversy, after letting slip in a Reuters interview "One patient's vision went from 20/400 to 20/40" in its ongoing macular dystrophy trial, reinforced by a subsequent company press release. At close, ACTC shares were up 16% (a penny) on very heavy volume.
